Movie and television metadata

MyFlixer uses TMDB to enrich title names, original titles, release dates, genres, original languages, synopses, audience-rating data, posters and backdrops. TMDB identifiers also help keep titles with similar names distinct. The presence of TMDB data does not mean that TMDB endorses MyFlixer.

Metadata is useful but not perfect. Release dates can differ by territory, a show may have multiple names, and genre classifications can change. Audience ratings are snapshots from the source at the time of the catalog update. They should be read as broad context, not as a MyFlixer review score or a prediction of personal taste.

Viewing-provider information

Provider sections help visitors move from discovery to a service that may carry the selected movie or show. Availability varies by country and can change as licenses, subscription plans and storefront terms change. MyFlixer cannot guarantee that a title is still included, that a free tier remains free, or that a specific audio track is present. The destination provider is the final source for availability, price, account requirements and playback.

What our editors add

MyFlixer adds the browsing structure, collection logic, internal links, shortlists, comparisons and manually written explanations that help visitors use the raw facts. Editorial notes may describe the kind of night a title or genre suits, but they should not invent cast credits, release news or provider access. Search-demand information is used privately to identify unanswered questions; it is not displayed as a claim of popularity or authority.

Report a data problem

If a title has the wrong image, year, language, synopsis or route, send the page URL and the specific correction through Corrections. If the concern involves ownership or protected material, use Rights Requests instead.
